Bigger in Texas

Our partner organization, The Clark Hulings Foundation for Visual Artists, will be in Dallas for an Art Business Summit Sept 7-9th. We are honored to have the event featured in the September 2018 issue of Western Art Collector. You can get a quick taste of the article by clicking here and going to pages 42-43. Many of you are already subscribers, so when the issue arrives at your door, you can turn to page 38 in the hard copy and read all about the Summit. If you are in the Dallas area next weekend, send us a note  so we can invite you to drop by!

Go West

Like many Hulings collectors, we are fans of Western Art Collector. This publication is one of the best ways to stay current with upcoming sales of both contemporary and historic Western Art. Although Hulings painted all over the world, the Western Art community in the US was one of the first to widely recognize his accomplishments, and is still an incredibly successful market for his work.

Art is a Serious Business

Fine Art experts may or may not know that Hulings was as adept an entrepreneur as he was an artist. Inspired by his example, the Clark Hulings Foundation was founded in 2011 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit that equips professional visual artists to be self-sustaining entrepreneurs. We still have a few spots available for working visual artists to participate in the Dallas Summit, and you can send your artist colleagues here  for more details and registration.

Do You Know About the Clark Hulings Foundation?

A portion of net proceeds of the Clark Hulings Estate are donated to CHF, to enable working artists like Clark to build self-sustaining businesses.
