This beautiful color catalogue features reproductions of the thirty-eight paintings created between 2004 and 2007 that comprise Hulings' one-man show, Timeless Beauty: Pursuing Life's Textures. The Artist offers his own commentary on each picture and art historian and former editor of Southwest Art, Susan Hallsten McGarry has written an insightful introductory essay. The theme is common folk and landscapes rich with color, light and texture. Among the countries represented are France, Italy, Spain, Romania, the United States and Mexico.
